From research done on a carefully sanded aluminum plate, I began to paint in oil as if it were a canvas. The traditional technique (oil on canvas) seems apparently the
itself, but with a very important particularity that gives the work a sort of three-dimensionality: the color of aluminum. As can be seen from the photos, the color is applied in the same way with respect to the canvas, but subsequently it is in some places, chosen not by chance, scraped off with the various spatulas, giving life to transparencies and thanks to the color of the metal they become sparkling. Here is the choice of the name given to the collection "Shining". Thus a work is obtained, after being resinated, with a remarkable and shimmering depth when it is illuminated. In this case, the viewer becomes an integral part of the work and interacts with the same when he crosses it with his gaze from one side to the other.
It is clear that everything that has been said cannot convey the idea of what the live work can be like.
